To coincide with the new Microsoft XBOX360 Experience, Tenacious D featuring Jack Black and Kyle Gass, will be on Xbox LIVEŽ November 20 to play Xbox LIVE members in Rock Band 2 and to celebrate the recent release of The Complete Masterworks 2 DVD. The Gamertags are "JBTenacious" and "KGTenacious." To celebrate the launch as well as their new DVD, Complete Masterworks 2, the band has put together a nice package including the DVD itself, a copy of the game, Lost Oddessy, XBOX Live points and more.

Tonight the traveling dirty rock-n-roll carnival of The Bronx and Everytime I Die roll into the Canal Club in Richmond, VA. We've got two free tickets for one lucky fan within spitting distance of the venue. Also playing will be Stick To Your Guns and local miscreants, Landmines.

Earlier this year, Vancouver-based hardcore/punk outfit Gravemaker released their Think Fast debut, Bury Me At Sea. Since then, the band has been touring with Comeback Kid, Misery Signals, Bane, Outbreak and Shai Hulud and now This Is Hell.

Instrumental rock powerhouse Beware Of Safety will be releasing their debut full length, entitled "dogs" through The Mylene Sheath this month. The follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut ep "It Is Curtains" promises to be a much more ambitious outing spreading across 10 tracks and clocking in at over 60 minutes.
To celebrate the release, the label has offered up one very rare test press. Only ten copies in total were made, with the nine remaining copies going to the band and label. Along with giving away one of those unique items, we've also got a copy of the album on pilsner vinyl and a copy on CD to give away.

In Spring 2009 the case of the Death In The Park will begin...an ominous beginning to band formed from the death of another entity. Andy Jackson (long time frontman for Hot Rod Circuit) and Joe Ballaro's (bassist of Hot Rod Circuit) new band is releasing a full-length on End Sounds in the spring, but in the meantime they are releasing a teaser Self-Titled CD EP (also on End) that is not available in stores.
The EP features 3 songs from the forthcoming album and 2 acoustic songs. Hayley Williams from Paramore makes a guest vocal appearance of the acoustic version of "Fallen" that appears on the EP as well as on being part of the case squad on the full-length.
