Fueled by Ramen act Phantom Planet have posted the final video from their debut for the label. The record is titled Raise the Dead and it follows up 2004's Epic released Phantom Planet. Aside from their recorded output, the band is notable for once featuring actor Jason Schwartzman on drums. The band's song "California" was also the theme song for popular Fox television series The O.C.. The band split up this fall.

Better Pray. The song eschews some of the band's emo/rock influences for a more Guns'n'Roses-tinged hard rock approach. The song will be included on the band's upcoming album, Lonely Road, due out February 3, 2009. The band released their previous full length, Don’t You Fake It, in 2006.

Spinnerette, the project from remnants of the Distillers - frontwoman Brody Dalle and guitarist Tony Bevilacqua - have released a new video for their debut EP. The digital EP, Ghetto Love, is due out today and is available directly from the band.

Video website If You Make It has posted a video of Huntington Station, New York's Iron Chic performing a new song, "I Never Get Winded", live at The Fest 7 in Gainesville this past Halloween. As reported here, the song is from the Dangerous Intersection 7" compilation out sometime this winter via Traffic Street Records.
