Videos: The Bouncing Souls: "Gasoline" (Pink Couch Session)

If You Make It has posted the latest in their Pink Couch Sessions. The Bouncing Souls sat down on the couch during this year's Fest 7. The band recorded an acoustic version of their recent digital release "Gasoline." You can check out the video here, at the Pink Couch Sessions site.

The song will also appear on a forthcoming 7" that will collect the entries from January through March plus a bonus track. The song was produced by Ted Hutt, who worked on 2006's The Gold Record along with recent recordings from the Gaslight Anthem, Flogging Molly, and Street Dogs.

Fueled by Ramen act Phantom Planet have posted the final video from their debut for the label. The record is titled Raise the Dead and it follows up 2004's Epic released Phantom Planet. Aside from their recorded output, the band is notable for once featuring actor Jason Schwartzman on drums. The band's song "California" was also the theme song for popular Fox television series The O.C.. The band split up this fall.

A fan recorded some video of Polar Bear Club performing the Get Up Kids favorite, "Ten Minutes" live. The original track comes from the Get Up Kids' Something To Write Home About. That album will celebrate its tenth anniversary next year.

PBC are touring in support of Sometimes Things Just Disappear.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus have posted their new single, "You Better Pray. The song eschews some of the band's emo/rock influences for a more Guns'n'Roses-tinged hard rock approach. The song will be included on the band's upcoming album, Lonely Road, due out February 3, 2009. The band released their previous full length, Don’t You Fake It, in 2006.

Spinnerette, the project from remnants of the Distillers - frontwoman Brody Dalle and guitarist Tony Bevilacqua - have released a new video for their debut EP. The digital EP, Ghetto Love, is due out today and is available directly from the band.

The Distillers last released Coral Fang in 2003 and fell apart in the years following.

Video website If You Make It has posted a video of Huntington Station, New York's Iron Chic performing a new song, "I Never Get Winded", live at The Fest 7 in Gainesville this past Halloween. As reported here, the song is from the Dangerous Intersection 7" compilation out sometime this winter via Traffic Street Records.

The band's most recent release is the group's five song Demo, which can be downloaded for free here. Check out the video here.
